Eco-Earth


This project grew concurrently with my other work, motivated by years of environmental concern, early work in alternative technologies, and from the drawing of fantasy creatures since I was a child. Presented as mixed-media digital works and text, the EcoAnimals embody alternate energy abilities such as designing and constructing solar cities, and producing solar, wind, wave, hydrogen, biomass, and other clean energy. Often, the creatures - such as the Duck Dirigible, Trashmaster Toads, Hovering Hogcraft, and Salamander Siphons - combine existing technologies in new ways, whereas Orbital Lemmings, Hydro Hippos, the Mobius Moth and Oracular Owl present hypothetical approaches to restoring our global environment.
